The new version of ConverterLite with CD Burning capabilities (v1.4.0) will not work on Windows XP and Server 2003 without a Windows HotFix.
Basically, we use a Windows functionality called IMAPIv2, which only comes natively in Windows starting at Windows Vista.
Therefore, if you are running an older version, you will need to download and install Windows HotFix KB932716 (from here: http://support.microsoft.com/
If you do not have this installed, when trying to select a burn disc after clicking Convert, you will get an error saying “X: does not seem to be a valid CD drive”, where X is the drive letter you have tried to select.
It’s worth pointing out that if you have Automatic updates turned on, this should have been updated already.
